Real name, Idem Mfoniso Idorenyin, otherwise known as ShugaBrain is one of Nigeria's dastest rising stars and he is really good in the studio. He is currently signed by the Nigerian REDEFINED MUSIC and identified himself with awesome musical prowess after featuring the Mean Club Sound boss, Blaakstar in a widely accepted song, 'Show Me Love'.

Born as Idem Mfoniso Idorenyin, he is better known by his stage name, ShugaBrain presently. He was born on the 10th of November, 1994 in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. He started unprofessional music as early as age twelve  but came into the limelight after collaborating with Mean Club Sound Blaakstar in the viral hit, 'Show Me Love'. His family members are singers according to a report, and he loved writing songs on a daily basis. He was also a member of the church choir.

However he first started professional music at the age of nineteen, though he joined the church choir earlier before that. His first song, 'Star' was a great song. He funded the production of the song himself and the next year he was able to air the song on CRBC 105.5, a top Nigerian music channel. Airing the single got him more connection and he was able to appear on Hit songs in Calabar,Uyo and Port Harcourt', because of the impressive first single.
He scaled to the top of his career in the year 2016, fast-forwarding to that. He was listed on Alabajamz's 'top ten songs of the month of August, 2016' and the following year, he was also listed among the top 16 fastest rising stars you need to know.
His prowess in the Afro-pop music niche and amazing Freestyle skills single him out from so many other artistes. Aside 'Good Loving' and 'Raba', ShugaBrain has also released some other hits such as 'Gogo Gaga' and 'Ima'.

ShugaBrain parents unlike so many other African parents supported him to join music from an early age, after discovering his talent. They were only concerned he gets his academic certificates before doing that. They sponsored him to School, where he had his tertiary education at the University of Calabar, Calabar, studying Radiography.

ShugaBrain father is a music lover and his mum was a choir director, maybe that was why the celebrities dad and mum didn't give him a headache in the career. They base in Calabar with ShugaBrain siblings.

ShugaBrain  had his early education probable in Cross River State, where he was born. He also had part of his education in Akwa Ibom.

He had his tertiary education at the University of Calabar,,where he studied Radiography. According to him, he is doing that as a pre-med before getting admission into the medical school.

ShugaBrain started unprofessional singing at a very early age, but released his first song, 'Star'. He came into the musical limelight in 2016, after collaborating with Mean Club Sound boss, Blaakstar  in a viral song, 'Show Me Love' and has since then released other hit songs like 'IMA'.

Talking more about his career, he began it fully after returning from school in Calabar  on the request of his parents.  He met Iliamda. Iliamda was a young entrepreneur and was keenly interested in ShugaBrain  talent.

He signed him into their production crew and they both flew To Lagos for the production of his music, when they met Soundit, the REDEFINED MUSIC CEO and that landed him a deal. ShugaBrain was signed into the REDEFINED MUSIC  in the year 2013.
